INSTRUCTIONS
Competition classification:Â public, day orienteering event in sprint, set course order with added map puzzle.

Competition Centre: Penzión IntenzÃva (mapa), Stupava
Walking access through Nova street, not through the park!
Registration (public, not registered in Slovak Orienteering Federation):Â 10:30 - 12:30 inside Pension Intenziva. Â Please know your entry ID before entering the presentation (can be looked up on the website or in competition centre)
Registration (clubs registered in Slovak Orienteering Federation):Â 9:30 - 10:30 inside Pension Intenziva (near SI read out)
Registration (kids picture race):Â 10:30 - 12:30
Blue tent, Registration is located at the start of the kids race. At the start, kids will get their map with picture check points.
Additional entries after the deadline and/or at the registration on the spot are only possible within the limits of organizer and without the St.Nicolas surprise.
Punching: SportIdent, rental: 1€, damage or no return: 30€. SI chip is not required for the kids picture race (punching directly to map)
Terrain:Â Stupava park - flat, easy to run with spots of seasonal vegetation (undergrowth), few streams, one side of the map slope and forrest, partially village. Basically - everything :)

Please, follow the rules of maps for sprint orienteering, especially: impassable fence/wall and restricted area. There will be referees in the terrain - entering restricted area and/or crossing an impassble fence/wall is a reason for disqualification.
Start:
Main competition: 11:30 - 13:00
- free start, start possible in 1 minute intervals according to instructions from the start personnel
- SI punching on start line is required (at the moment of start)
- there will be multiple corridors at the start according to category and start number color, please follow instructions given by the start referees
Kids picture race: 10:30 - 12:30
- blue tent signposted “Detská traÅ¥â€
- start in 1 minute intervals
- Kids picture race consists of 9 checkpoints with pictures. Kids are supposed to find them in any order. Punching directly into the map.
- On the finish line, their time will be measured, kids will receive St. Nicolas’s surprise from either Angel, Devil or St. Nicolas himself (depending how good they behaved) and a medal.
Orienteering Surprise (“Mlynkovinaâ€): In categories M-18, W-18, M19-, W19-, M45-, W45-, M55-, W55 part of the map will be splitted to squares which will be randomly shuffled on the map, so the track will seem broken. You still need to follow the given checkpoint order. Sample on one of our olders map (not the same area):

You can take the bus (215, 219) to Borinka and get off at stop “Stupava, Å¡kol.str.â€.
Or taky any bus to Stupava and get off at stop “Stupava, aut. stanica†(bus station), from there approx 1,5 km but not through the park but along “Nová†street.
